OLIVIA CHENEVERT MEMORIAL PROGRAM/40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The Assumption Parish Library in Napoleonville is honoring former Library Board of Control chairperson, Ms. Olivia Chenevert who died in July, 2007.  Ms. Chenevert served as library board chairperson from 1987 to 2005.  She also served on the Library Board of Control before and after her chairmanship.  The library is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of parish library service which began in May 1968.  The program will be held at the library in Napoleonville on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 A.M.  Special guests will be Mr. & Mrs. Chenevert's six children and Ms. Meg Huddleston, a native of Assumption Parish and now library consultant from the State Library of Louisiana.  The public is invited and encouraged to attend.  Refreshments will be served.
